For the first 6 months of the EHLS Program, classes are held at the Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies (SCS) in Washington, DC. Since the program is full-time and intensive, you should expect to spend much time on campus and commute daily.
Georgetown University does not provide housing for EHLS scholars. If you move to Washington, DC, to attend the program, you will need to find your own off-campus housing. SCS offers tips and resources for your search in its neighborhood guide.
SCS is located at 111 Massachusetts Ave NW, convenient to a variety of transportation options.
For more information, please consult the Georgetown Capitol Campus Parking and Transportation page, as well as these sites:
As an EHLS scholar at Georgetown University SCS, you will be able to enjoy a wide array of campus resources.
EHLS scholars must purchase the Georgetown University Premier Plan for health insurance. However, scholars may waive this requirement if they are covered by a health insurance plan that meets Georgetown University’s standards. For details about the insurance plan, visit Georgetown University Student Health Insurance.
